Karen and Glen Gibbons have once again prepared an excellent display in the lobby of the District of Lake Country’s municipal building.

The Early Churches of Lake Country display features photographs of several past churches including Oyama United, St. Paul’s Presbyterian and United, Free Methodist, Winfield Church, St. Mary’s Anglican, All Saints Anglican (Okanagan Centre Hall), St. Margaret’s Anglican, and the former Kingdom Halls and St. Edward’s Catholic Church. The St. Paul’s United sign is also on display along with a collection of bibles and hymn books. An offering plate from Oyama United Church contains old coins and bills.

Karen and Glen are Museum volunteers who present wonderful glimpses of Lake Country’s past. Take a look at this latest display when next you’re at the DLC offices or the Library.
