The Kelowna Branch of the Okanagan Historical Society will be holding their annual FAMILY PIONEER PICNIC today, Sunday, July 15th, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This year the OHS is recognizing the centennial arrival of Glenmore families.
The picnic is being held behind Parkinson Recreation Centre and all OHS members and pioneers are welcome to come and bring their families.
Please bring a bag lunch and lawn chair if possible. Coffee, juice, cake and ice cream will be provided.
The OHS publication Kelowna Street Names — their origins as well as the OHS Annual Reports will be available to purchase.
