Harvey has worked in almost every area of the Museum and Archives, providing assistance wherever and whenever needed.

He assists with building and maintenance, sets up for exhibitions, helps with the heritage photo booth, provides popcorn at community events, assists with school field trips, and contributes wonderful home baking. The number of hours that Harvey has volunteered is legion, and his friendly demeanour is appreciated by staff and visitors alike. It is his sparkling personality that creates such a delightful atmosphere at the Museum and at Museum events. Harvey is a volunteer extrordinaire.

As National Volunteer Week draws to a close for 2018, we would like to say “Congratulations and thank you, Harvey Leamont; it is people like you who make Lake Country such a rich and welcoming community.”

  • I have known Harvey and this is wonderful news. Would you please share my email address with Harvey, its important that I contact him with information about his friend George.
To remind Harvey who I am, I hiked the West Coast trail with him in 1990 & 1991. My surname has changed since then. Thank You. Judith ( AKA Judy)
