Thank you to the Lake Country Museum Volunteers

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” — Margaret Mead.

Members of the Lake Country community have a history of community involvement and at the Lake Country Museum this community spirit is evident in the volunteers* who have been active in collecting and preserving the artifacts, manuscripts and photographs which document the history of Lake Country.

We salute these volunteers, especially during National Volunteer Week when all Canadians celebrate volunteerism and civic participation. We extend a big Thank You to the volunteers of the Lake Country Museum.

Would you like to volunteer at your community Museum? If so, please contact the Lake Country Museum. There are a variety of activities at the Museum; whatever your interest or expertise, we will find a place for your valuable assistance.
