Harvey Leamont – Past Volunteer of the Year
Our organization thrives on the commitment of our dedicated volunteers, a group that includes individuals like Harvey Leamont, Miriam Bowles, Dianne Johnson, Sandi Harder, and Bob Thompson. They generously invest their time in preserving and presenting the rich history of Lake Country.
If you’re eager to meet new and interesting people while making a meaningful contribution to your community, we invite you to join our volunteer team. The Lake Country Museum is engaged in a variety of tasks, from clipping newspapers and capturing/editing photographs to creating videos, conducting research, data entry, planning public lectures, setting up museum displays, and handling maintenance, marketing, and various other projects.
Regardless of your skill level or specific interests, we likely have a role that aligns with your passion. Feel free to contact us at any time if you’re interested in volunteering, seeking information, or have suggestions for our museum or website. We eagerly anticipate hearing from you and welcoming you to the museum.
To apply as a volunteer, simply print the volunteer form provided below and submit it to the Lake Country Museum & Archives. You can also email it to lcmuseum@shaw.ca. Additionally, there’s an optional membership form on the back. We’re thrilled at the prospect of meeting you and having you as part of our team!
