Here are two pictures taken in Okanagan Centre Hall, probably early spring of 1947 or 1948. According to Eleanor (Brixton) Geen, who supplied the photos, there was a tradition of spring shows at the hall, with local ladies acting as models. The items they are wearing were borrowed from Kelowna dress shops for the occasion.

MODELS: Miss MacLennan, Joyce Gunn, Gwen Van Ackeren, Gladys Macdonald, Margaret Hunter, Jimmy Kobayashi, Isabel Crandlemire, Isabel Reeves (Long), Sarah Crandlemire
It is great to get such a good photo of local residents. While some have been tentatively identified, others are still unknown. Any help we can get from people would be much appreciated. It would be particularly interesting to know the identity of the two young girls on the right at the front of the photo .

AUDIENCE. Front row: left to right: Earl Sherett, Lily Sherett (Gibbons), Mr. and Mrs Sidney Jones, Ellen Seaton, two unidentified girls. Second row: Ellen Thorlakson, Mr. Thorlakson, Anita (Mrs. Bernie) Baker, Eleanor Brixton (little girl), Mr. Hunt, two unidentified ladies, Mrs. Gibson, Grace Gibson, Pam Wentworth
